Members of the council are always willing to discuss problems and matters of local interest which are brought to their notice.

Townspeople are welcome to attend Town Council Meetings and can speak at the beginning of a meeting if prior notice is given to the Clerk of the Council, preferably a clear week ahead.   If action is required, the matter should be brought to the attention of the Town Clerk in writing at least ten days before a council meeting, so that it can be included in the agenda.

Council meetings are usually held every month at Manor Close Community Centre on the third Monday of the month, starting at 7.30 pm.  Notice of each meeting, along with the agenda, is displayed on the Town Council noticeboard in the Market Place.
