Members of the council are always willing to discuss problems and matters of local interest which are brought to their notice.

Townspeople are welcome to attend Town Council Meetings and can speak during the public session in the meeting. No notice is required but it is helpful to have some idea of numbers as the time can be restricted. If action is required, the matter should be brought to the attention of the Town Clerk in writing at least ten days before a council meeting, so that it can be included in the agenda.

Council meetings are usually held every month at Church House on the third Monday of the month, starting at 7 pm. The agenda for each meeting is displayed on the Town Council noticeboard in the Market Place.
