- Ryedale Local Plan
- To note the response from Ryedale District Council to the position statement regarding development sites and receive further information from the Planning Officer
- To consider the Ryedale Local Plan Sites Document and Policies Map and agree a suitable response www.ryedaleplan.org.uk/local-plan-sites-publication
- Streetlighting
- To note correspondence received from NYCC, Electrical Engineering - Road Lighting detailing the phasing out of Low Pressure Sodium Lamps (SOX Lamps) from 2019/2020
- To consider and agree Phase 2 of the street lighting upgrades to replace the last remaining concrete lighting column (Castlegate, col LP 2) with a 6m lizard grey steel column complete with a 10W LED lantern, and replacing all the obsolete mercury MBFU lanterns in compliance with NYCC standards and installation of LED lanterns,at a cost of £15,890 + VAT
- To consider and agree Phase 3 of the street lighting upgrades to replace all the remaining SOX and fluorescent lanterns with either 10W, 20W or 30W LED lanterns as appropriate, in compliance with NYCC standards at an estimated cost of £15,620 + VAT (subject to inflation at the time of commencement of works)
- To note correspondence from NYCC with regards to Urban Highway Grass Cutting and agree the option for urban grass cutting for 2018/19

- A170 Roundabout
- To receive a report on the works to the A170 roundabout
- To consider the generous offer made by Lesley Temple to purchase, on behalf of the town, Christmas lights for the A170 roundabout and agree a suitable response
- Manor Vale Woodland
- To note the recommendation of a sonic tomographic survey to assess the extent of decay in teh lower parts of the Oak tree at the Gillamoor entrance to Manor Vale pursuant to Minute MV17021
- To consider and agree appointment of Barnes Associates to carry out the advanced tree assessment at a cost of £315.00 + VAT
- Counter Terrorism
- To note information received in respect of Guidance to Counter Terrorism issued by Counter Terrorism Security Advisors (CTSAs), part of the North East Counter Terrorism Unit
- To note receipt of invitation to attend a Counter Terrorism Briefing delivered by a member of the North East Counter Terrorism Unit and agree attendees
- Community Award
- To invite nominations for the Community Award
- To note that nominations for the Community Award are required by 30 January 2018
