14009 To agree membership and quorum for Committees listed below and to appoint Members to Committees, delegated teams and representatives: It was agreed that the Play Areas and Sports committee should be amalgamated… the quorum being maintained at 3 members including 1 Councillor

   1. To receive minutes of the Play Areas Committee meeting held on 24 February 2014
   2. To receive minutes of the Sports Committee meeting held on 8 April 2014
   3. To consider matters arising
5. Public Session - to allow members of the public to make representations, ask questions and give evidence in respect of any items of business
6. To note that S106 funds have been authorised for bids submitted on behalf of the Cricket, Football, Pigeon, Squash and Tennis Clubs and the play areas committee in respect of the skatepark
7. To receive a report on the progress by Hedleys Solicitors on the issuance of leases and pitch licence for the sports clubs
8. To receive a report on the status of levy payments for 2014/15
9. To note that pursuant to minute SC13045d) the order for a Sports Field Sign has been submitted to NYCC Highways Authority
10. To note repairs authorised at the sports field
11. To note repairs authorised at Old Road and Ryedale View play areas
12. To note the recommendation by the Park Lane Playground Inspector to treat all wood play equipment and consider and agree a means to achieve this
13. To consider and agree to recommendations for repairs/improvements to the skatepark following a meeting with Chris Hankinson of Lightmain on Monday 23rd June

15. To agree on the date of the next meeting.
