North Yorkshire Council Highways Authority have provided notification of carriageway and footpath resurfacing works in the town centre.
The works will commence with Phase 1 carriageway patching on Dale End on 10th and 11th November. Phase 2 of the works, involving footpath resurfacing to High Market Place and Market Place will commence on 12th November. The works will be suspended between 18th and 24th November to accommodate the annual fair and the weekly market on Wednesdays (both by arrangement of the Memorial Hall Committee).
The schedule of works to complete footpath resurfacing on High Market Place and Market Place will resume on 25th November. Progression of works to Phase 3 and Phase 4 will involve carriageway resurfacing to High Market Place and Market Place and carriageway patching to Piercy End.
