All Councillors to sign the Declaration of Acceptance of office in the presence of the Proper Officer.

  1. To elect the Town Mayor for the ensuing year
  2. To record the Declaration of Office of the Town Mayor
  3. To receive Councillor Dowie’s report of her engagements since the Ordinary Meeting of the Town Council in April and comments on her period of office
  4. To give a vote of thanks to Councillor Dowie for her work during the year 2015-2016
  5. To elect the Deputy Town Mayor for the coming year
  6. To receive apologies for absence
  7. To receive Declarations of Interest in items on the agenda
  8. To confirm the amount of the Town Mayor’s Annual Allowance and how this is to be paid
  9. Casual Vacancy
    1. To resolve to declare Lorna Smeaton's office to be vacant: Section 86(1) of the Local Government Act 1972 as amended
    2. To resolve to give public notice of the vacancy on the Parish Council: Section 87(2) of the Local Government Act 1972
    3. To resolve to determine where the notice of the vacancy should be placed: Section 232 of the Local Government Act 1972 as amended

    1. To approve the Accounts for the year to 31st March 2016
    2. To approve the figures to be included in Section 2 (Accounting Statements) of the Annual Return for year ending 31st March 2016
    3. To approve the Bank Reconciliation for inclusion in the Annual Return for year ending 31 March 2016
    4. To approve a report on variances in the accounts beyond the permitted 10%
    5. To consider the Annual Governance Statements as set out in Section 1 of the Annual Return for year ending 31st March 2016 and approve as appropriate

  18. To note that Kevin Hollinrake MP will be holding a Broadband and Business Forum in Easingwold on Friday 10 June 2016
